Dye
Colorants for wax and surface design.

Dye can be used to color wax, and can be used in the entire candle. One dye chip will color one pound. Liquid dye is recommended at 7 to 14 drops per pound and produces a more vibrant color.
When using IGI1260 wax, colours will appear darker when they dry.

Mix colours, then put on wax paper or countertop, let dry and then you will know the true colour.
In soy, colors will be pastel.

Certain color combos may not allow the candle to burn properly. Always test burn.

You can actually overload the dye and it will clog the wick. Do not exceed 14 drops of liquid per pound, or 3 color chips per pound.

By adding more black, brown or mahogany, you can deepen a color to a darker shade.
